Windrush Compensation Scheme Is Open With No Cap

The Windrush Compensation Scheme is now open. Individuals will be able to claim compensation through the Windrush Compensation Scheme if they suffered a loss because they could not demonstrate their lawful right to live in the UK.
You can find out more information on how to make a claim here.
It includes information on:
- Eligibility
- Entitlement
- How to claim
- Where to send your form and documents
- Help making a claim
- What happens next
- Your data
- Windrush engagement events
This includes if you could not prove your right to work, claim benefits or access services in the UK or if you faced immigration action.
If you know someone who has suffered as a result of the Windrush Scandal and the resulting hostile environment please let them know that they can seek assistance and that they can now claim for compensation without that compensation being capped. You can also claim retrospectively for family members.
